CONGRATULATIONS go out to the REVEREND, GRANDMASTER SOLOMON ISAAC of India on the birth of his NEW granddaughter, Rachel Ann......What an ANGEL!......The proud Father, is Isaac's son, Shihan Daniel Isaac, a top tournament competitor and teacher in the Middle East.....CONGRATULATIONS also to MASTER DON "THE" DRAGON" WILSON on his new son (more in the next issue on this!).

MASTER ROBERT FERGUSON of California will be releasing a new magazine geared purely for grapplers.....The magazine entitled TAG (True American Grapplers) will feature arts such as Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Sambo, Wrestling, Judo and various eclectic methods of Wrestling to submission. MIS-COMMUNICATION happens in Hawaii.....In the category of "what can happen next"??!!.....Our member, TAIKA SEIYU OYATA, Founder of RYUTE was in Hawaii recently to meet with some of our people there when it seems he "disappeared off the face of the earth"!....Even the hotel he was staying at had no idea he was actually there until they checked through their entire reservations system to find him! The sad part about all this was that our contact in Hawaii, MASTER KIMO FERREIRA was going crazy leaving messages for Taika at the room number the hotel gave him with no response. After several hours of leaving messages, a frustrated Kimo called me to say that Seiyu Oyata apparently didn't want to be bothered......Not until a few days later did a very relieved Kimo call to say that Taika had finally called him......The problem.....the messages were being forwarded to a Mr. "OGATA"......S-o-o-o, how was your weekend???

A FIRST FOR PUERTO RICO!......HANSHI CARLOS J. LOPEZ ROYAL, Founder of SEMAI DO KARATE and the SOGOTEKI System became the FIRST Martial artist to ever be inducted into a Sports Hall of Fame there. LOU ANGEL of Missouri celebrated the 10th Anniversary of his NATIONAL COLLEGE OF MARTIAL ARTS with an International tournament and banquet recently.....Also present at the event was his former student and Honorary Member of the WHFSC, actor MASTER JEFF SPEAKMAN.....From all accounts it was a VERY SUCCESSFUL and joyous event .....May there be MANY, MANY more for you Lou!

This is a very special year for the GONG YUEN CHUAN FA PAI LUM TAO Family. This year they celebrate their 25th Anniversary as an organization.
