
Robert F. Edwards

and Master of Manabi Masho Jujitsu
Professor Robert
F. Edwards is the Co-Chairman of The Manabi Masho
Federation of Martial Arts, Head instructor of The
Huntington YMCA Judo & Jujitsu Club and a member of
The World Head of Family Sokeship
Council.
In 1955 Prof. Edwards
started his Martial Arts training in Judo and Jujitsu
under Don Hutchinson who was trained at The Kodokan in
Japan.
He competed in judo for 20
years and won many titles and awards. He has been
inducted into The International Martial Arts Hall of Fame
and The World Martial Arts Hall of Fame. In August of
1996 was given a PhD. of Martial Arts from The World
Martial Arts Hall of Fame Grandmaster Sokeship Council and September 1999 earned a Doctor
Degree of Philosophy in Martial Arts Education.
Also earned a Doctor of Science Degree in Martial Arts
from The Regents International College of Martial Arts.
He has received a special
award from YMCA for the many years of teaching Judo and
Jujitsu classes for free. In 1983 was inducted into Who's
Who In Martial Arts.

Prof. Edwards has studied
with many martial artist in the past 45 yrs, including
Don Hutchinson, 2nd Degree Black Belt in judo
and jujitsu, Soo Pang, 5th Degree Black Belt
in Judo and Jujitsu, Grandmaster Don Madden, 9th
Degree Black Belt in Karate, Shihan Tracy Cook, 8th
Degree Black Belt in Judo , Jujitsu, Karate and Aikido,
Jim Bregman, U.S. Olympic Team, Professor John H.
Casarez, Soke, 10th Degree Black Belt in
Jujitsu, Judo, Karate and Aikido.
From 1970 to 1974 he was
Manager and Head Sensei in Judo and Jujitsu at The
Huntington School of Self-Defense and Head Sensei,
Huntington YMCA Judo & Jujitsu Club.
